An impression is the number of times your ad comes up or is shown in a search. The total number of impressions is the number of times your ad was shown during the selected timeframe.
Clickthrough Rate (CTR)

This number tells you how often people who see your ad click on it relative to the number of times your ad is shown (impressions). Clicks ÷ Impressions = CTR. It’s a good indicator of how well your ads are performing, and if the message in those ads is relevant to the people you’re trying to reach.

This is the average amount you’re paying for each click. Total cost of your clicks ÷ Total number of clicks = Average CPC. Understanding this number will help you gauge how your ads are doing compared to other veterinary practices who are using Google Ads.

Conversions

This is one of the most important numbers to know, because it tells you if your ads are converting people into clients. A conversion is when someone who clicks on your Google Ad takes an action that benefits your practice. At iVET360, a conversion is counted each time one of the following actions take place:
- A contact form is submitted via your Google Ads landing page
- Someone clicks to call the practice, either from the landing page or the ad itself
